2026 Spring Release
2024 Peay Vineyards Pomarium Estate Pinot Noir, West Sonoma Coast
More nuanced floral and tea aromas have elevated the complexity of the wine and softened the muscular notes. Plum skin, jasmine tea, and even a light sandalwood hippie aroma. With 26 years of vine age, there is just more flavor, depth, and persistence with less bombast.
2024 Peay Vineyards Savoy Pinot Noir, Anderson Valley
Tart red fruits lean into darker cherry flavors and are framed by a lead mineral quality. The “Mendocino spice” aroma critics often note is evident with brown spices originating from the skin of the fruit not from barrel as the oak expression is invisible. This is as sophisticated an expression, while staying true to form, that Savoy gets.
2024 Peay Vineyards West Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
Flat out gorgeous. The depth of flavor and texture of the 2022 with the lift, grace, and balance of the 2023. Top notes of Earl Grey tea with raspberry fruit emerging over time. Aromas of boysenberry and brass come to the fore in the mid palate with a dried leaf and forest floor note serving as the base drum.
2023 Peay Vineyards La Bruma Estate Syrah, West Sonoma Coast
White and green pepper aromas accent this incredible La Bruma Syrah. Immediately upon smelling the wine, I recollected a juniper berry and pepper venison dish I had on a ski trip in the Rockies. Aromas of violets and crushed dried lavender cradle the berry fruit and iron flavors, with soft tannins.
2024 Peay Vineyards Richardson Chardonnay, West Sonoma Coast
The nose features typical lemon curd notes with some spearmint and thyme. The texture on the palate is silky with an oatmeal biscuit flavor creeping in kept fresh and lively by a metallic, oyster shell-like minerality on the long finish. This is a lovely expression of Chardonnay and has a little less of the richness found in the 2023 with the structure to age for a decade or longer.
2024 Peay Vineyards West Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
The nose is tense and bright with green and citrus notes. The aromas remind me of biting into a warm ginger scone with lemon curd spread on top. There is a “mineral” flavor and a directness delivered by a solid backbone of acidity. If you enjoyed the style of the 2023 and 2021 West Sonoma Coast Chardonnays, then you are in for a treat.
2024 Peay Vineyards Estate Viognier, West Sonoma Coast
High-toned floral aromas of honeysuckle and white flowers with hints of kaffir lime and lemongrass. The mouthfeel is not fat and ponderous but fresh and vibrant. Flavors of slate, lemon, and oyster shell combine with sour peach and salt on the palate.
Previous Releases
2023 Peay Vineyards Maritima Estate Chardonnay, West Sonoma Coast
This is our twenty-second vintage of the Estate Chardonnay and the vine age and the long, cool, fall weather resulted in a wine with signature focus, tension, and refinement. This translates to the wine in citrus blossom, mint, and basil aromas cradled by wet stone and light hoppy notes. The weight is medium to light bodied yet the texture is silky like a woman’s elbow-length glove. This is an energetic and fresh Chardonnay unburdened by fat and simply magnificent.
2023 Peay Vineyards Ama Estate Pinot Noir, West Sonoma Coast
The aroma bursts with tell-tale Ama cherry and apple skin notes with hints of pomegranate sneaking in. A touch of dried pine needle/forest floor and lead pencil frame the bright, playful fruit aromas. The wine has mouth-watering acidity and for Pinot Noir is decidedly perfumed and light on its feet. With a half-hour decant the mid-palate fills out and gains some heft. This wine is gorgeous right now.
2023 Peay Vineyards Scallop Shelf Estate Pinot Noir, West Sonoma Coast
Best Scallop Shelf to date. Bam! Need I say more? Okay, I will. The aroma is deep with sour dark cherry notes framed by floral and spice elements. Less of the typical blood orange and orange rind quality common with this cuveé and more robust fruit flavors leaning into red fruits. As the wine sits on the tongue, aromas of jasmine tea and forest floor lay a foundation under the fruit.
2022 Peay Vineyards West Sonoma Coast Syrah, West Sonoma Coast
With all the barrels of the 2022 Syrahs were such excellent examples of Peay Estate Syrah, we decided to make our first Peay West Sonoma Coast Estate Syrah. Green olive, meat, and new leather aromas on the nose sit on top of a plum and blackberry core of fruit. The wine is fresh and energetic and the tannins are supple making it approachable and enjoyable right now.
2022 Peay Vineyards Les Titans Estate Syrah, West Sonoma Coast
Akin in style to Cornas but our Syrah always has a lot more acidity, freshness, and lower alcohol than found in wines from that singular region of France. The 2022 Les Titans is true to form with aromas of BBQ, steak, and game framing a blackberry and lamb shank jus core of flavor. Whiffs of lavender keep the wine lifted, making me think of a Côte Rôtie Syrah with fewer stem flavors.
2023 Peay Vineyards Estate Marsanne/Roussanne, West Sonoma Coast
At first sniff, aromas of elderberries, poached pear, wax, linen, cured lemon, and toasted almond emerge in succession. With a few minutes of air in the glass, the volume in the nose gets turned up and up! On the palate, the flavors are intense, really pronounced. There is incredible mid-palate depth though this is not a fat wine but focused and energetic. The aromas linger on the long finish and with such brisk acidity, the 2023 Roussanne/Marsanne is set to age as long as you desire.
2022 Peay Vineyards Scallop Shelf Estate Pinot Noir, West Sonoma Coast
A prologue indicating that what follows is a wine of elegance, lift and grace not heavy, flabby, richness. The texture on the palate is smooth with medium weight. The red fruit flavors mix with mineral and forest floor aromas that linger on a salivating finish with bright acidity that is present but not aggressive. This is quintessential Scallop Shelf Pinot Noir and we look forward to seeing it evolve with time.

2022 Peay Vineyards West Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 375mL
The 2022 bursts out of the glass with a beam of dark raspberry, pomegranate, orange zest, and black trumpet mushroom aromas. In addition to the fruit aromas, a little tea, sour cherry, brass, and bark frame the wine in the aftertaste and finishes with our hallmark fresh acidity making you salivate.
2022 Peay Vineyards Les Titans Estate Syrah, West Sonoma Coast 375mL
Akin in style to Cornas but our Syrah always has a lot more acidity, freshness, and lower alcohol than found in wines from that singular region of France. MAGNUMS
2023 Peay Vineyards Ama Estate Pinot Noir, West Sonoma Coast MAGNUM
The aroma bursts with tell-tale Ama cherry and apple skin notes with hints of pomegranate sneaking in. A touch of dried pine needle/forest floor and lead pencil frame the bright, playful fruit aromas. The wine has mouth-watering acidity and for Pinot Noir is decidedly perfumed and light on its feet. With a half-hour decant the mid-palate fills out and gains some heft. This wine is gorgeous right now.

Cep Wines
2023 Cep Vineyards Estate Pinot Noir, West Sonoma Coast
The ideal expression of Pinot Noir to us is a wine that has body without heaviness and is full of flavor but graceful and elegant. The 2023 Cep Pinot Noir captures this essence and is just gorgeous. The aroma features bright fruits of raspberry, pomegranate, and cranberry with floral elements blowing through and a slightly brambly, anise quality giving ballast in the face of the high tones. It is full-flavored yet not rich, a quality I find very attractive and unique, especially at this price point. The acidity is mouth-watering though not aggressive. The tell-tale Peay Pinot Noir aromas of dried pine needle, jasmine tea, and earth linger in the aftertaste. This wine offers charm, complexity, and value.
