The light color and burst of floral aroma tells you this will be a perfumed wine of elegance. Aromas of rose and raspberry mix with the distinct blood orange quality found in wines made from the Pommard selection of Pinot Noir when grown on the West Sonoma Coast. The wine is light and lively with medium weight on the palate. This is not a rich and unctuous Pinot Noir. It trades extract and power for harmony, grace, and elegance. A superb wine and will be versatile at your table.

Twelve years ago our shepherd whose sheep mow our winter grass invited us to plant a little over 4 acres of our favorite clones of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on his ranch. We released our first Chardonnay from Richardson in 2023 and the delicious 2024 was offered to you this past spring.
