2023 Cep Vineyards Hopkins Rosé, Russian River Valley

The 2023 Hopkins is a vibrant and refreshing Rosé of Pinot Noir. The aromas are brighter and more herbal and floral than the 2022 version with rose petal, green strawberries, and cranberry driving the palate. The wine is an intentional Rosé made by pressing off Pinot Noir in a bladder press with minimal time on the skins and, as such, has great intensity, elegance, and character. It is fermented in tank and the texture is crisp with medium to light body and quite a surprisingly long, salty/briny finish.
